The Alamo Heights Mules softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Southside Cardinals to 2 in the Mules non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Alamo Heights improves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Mules travel to Lanier (San Antonio, TX) to clash with the Voks in a 5A Region IV District 27 game on Tuesday, February 28. The Voks come into the game with a record of 0-4. Lanier lost 16-0 in their recent non-league game against Jay (San Antonio, TX)

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Harlandale Indians (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 28 game, on Tuesday, February 28. Southside will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Indians come into the game with a 0-8 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Johnson (San Antonio, TX).
