Texas High School Softball - Austin loses to Pearsall

The Pearsall Mavericks softball team scored 23 runs and limited the visiting Austin Panthers to 4 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Pearsall improves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Mavericks travel to Devine (Devine, TX) to clash with the Warhorses in a 4A Region IV District 29 game on Tuesday, February 28. The Warhorses come into the game with a record of 14-1. Devine won 18-0 in their recent non-league game against Dilley (Dilley, TX)
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Comfort Bobcats/Deer (Comfort, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 25. Austin will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Bobcats/Deer come into the game with a 6-4 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Austin (El Paso, TX).
