Nacogdoches Dragons (Nacogdoches, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Shelbyville Dragons (Shelbyville, TX), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Dragons now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Colmesneil for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 3.

With the loss, Shelbyville falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Cushing (Cushing, TX) to battle the Bearkats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 2. The Bearkats enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Cushing lost 8-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Colmesneil (Colmesneil, TX)
