Shaker Bison (Latham, NY) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Schenectady Patriots (Schenectady, NY), 79-70 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Shaker upgrades its record to 17-4 on the season. The Bison travel to Green Tech (Albany, NY) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 29. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 15-6. Green Tech won 84-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Saratoga Springs (Saratoga Springs, NY)
