The Independence Wildcats baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Senatobia Warriors to 3 in the Wildcats non-league win on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Biggersville for a non-league test on Thursday, February 27. Independence will clash with a Lions team coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Hatley (Amory, MS). The Lions record now stands at 1-3.
With the defeat, Senatobia drops to 2-3 on the year. The Warriors host Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS) to clash with the Conquistadors in a non-league test on Thursday, February 27. The Conquistadors go into the test with a record of 3-1. Olive Branch won 14-4 in their recent non-league test against Strayhorn (Sarah, MS)
