Mississippi High School Baseball - St. Andrew's Episcopal loses to Lamar

February 25, 2025: Ridgeland, MS 39157

In Tuesday's non-league test, the Lamar Raiders (Meridian, MS) baseball team routed the host St. Andrew's Episcopal Saints (Ridgeland, MS), by a count of 20-8.

The Raiders now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Newton County Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, February 27. Lamar will play a Generals team coming off a 16-2 non-league loss to East Rankin Academy (Pelahatchie, MS). The Generals record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, St. Andrew's Episcopal drops to 4-2 on the year. The Saints travel to Northeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS) to play the Trojans in a non-league test on Saturday, March 1. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 2-4. Northeast Lauderdale lost 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Kosciusko (Kosciusko, MS)
