Vermont High School Basketball - Champlain Valley Union thwarts Bellows Free Academy

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Champlain Valley Union Redhawks (Hinesburg, VT) and the visiting Bellows Free Academy Bobwhites/Comets (St. Albans, VT), observed Champlain Valley Union's basketball team knock off Bellows Free Academy by a score of 50-42.

The Redhawks (9-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Burlington (Burlington, VT). The Seahorses come into the non-league challenge with a 22-2 record. In their last challenge, Burlington prevailed over Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT), 87-71, in a league challenge.
