The Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls (Carlsbad, NM) basketball were winner over the visiting Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM), 48-30 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Cavemen/Cavegirls now possess a 17-10 record. They play next when they travel to Roswell for a 5A District 4 bout on Thursday, February 27. Carlsbad will play a Coyotes team coming off a 76-68 non-league loss to Hobbs (Hobbs, NM). The Coyotes record now stands at 21-6.
With the loss, Clovis falls to 8-17 on the campaign.
