The Holy Cross Crusaders (Waterbury, CT) basketball edged the visiting Torrington Raiders (Torrington, CT), 66-60 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Crusaders now possess a 18-4 record. They play next when they host Waterbury Career Academy for a Naugatuck Valley 1 bout on Thursday, February 27. Holy Cross will play a Spartans team coming off a 62-51 league win over Crosby (Waterbury, CT). The Spartans record now stands at 18-4.
With the loss, Torrington falls to 14-9 on the campaign. The Raiders host East Lyme (East Lyme, CT) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 1. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 9-11. East Lyme lost 60-51 in their recent league bout against New London (New London, CT)
