The Searcy Lions basketball squad (Searcy, AR), was crushed 69-36 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting West Memphis Blue Devils (West Memphis, AR)
With the victory, West Memphis advances its record to 10-9 on the year.
The Lions now own a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Batesville for a 5A East battle on Friday, February 28. Searcy will meet a Pioneers squad coming off a 66-31 league loss to Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR). The Pioneers record now stands at 9-13.
