The Spencer County Bears basketball team scored 43 points and limited the visiting Woodford County Yellowjackets to 40 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bears now have a 19-9 record. They play next when they travel to Anderson County for a non-league game on Friday, February 28. Spencer County will confront a Bearcats team coming off a 56-47 non-league win over Collins (Shelbyville, KY). The Bearcats record now stands at 13-12.

With the loss, Woodford County falls to 13-12 on the campaign.
