The De Soto Wildcats basketball team scored 73 points and limited the visiting Lansing Lions to 36 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now possess a 14-4 record. They play next when they travel to Leavenworth for a United Kansas game on Friday, February 28. De Soto will confront a PIONEERS team coming off a 54-27 league loss to Seaman (Topeka, KS). The PIONEERS record now stands at 5-9.

With the loss, Lansing falls to 2-15 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Turner (Kansas City, KS) to confront the Golden Bears in a United Kansas game on Thursday, February 27. The Golden Bears go into the game with a record of 3-16. Turner lost 48-14 in their recent league game against West (Topeka, KS)
