In Tuesday's league contest, the host Sheyenne Mustangs basketball team scored a good 60-49 triumph over the Fargo North Spartans.
The Mustangs (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Red River (Grand Forks, ND). The Roughriders go into the AA East contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, Red River was topped by Horace (Horace, ND), 69-40, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Red River Roughriders (Grand Forks, ND) in a AA East contest, on Tuesday, March 4. Fargo North will attempt to better on its 8-13 season record. The Roughriders go into the contest with a 13-9 record after their 50-35 league win over Sheyenne (West Fargo, ND).
