The Midland Trail Patriots basketball squad (Hico, WV), was crushed 64-38 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Pocahontas County Warriors (Dunmore, WV)

With the victory, Pocahontas County advances its record to 14-4 on the year. The Warriors travel to Union (Mount Storm, WV) to meet the Tigers in a non-league battle on Friday, February 28. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 6-13. Union won 61-18 in their recent league battle against Harman (Harman, WV)

The Patriots now own a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Summers County for a non-league battle on Friday, February 28. Midland Trail will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 69-38 league loss to Mingo Central (Matewan, WV). The Bobcats record now stands at 10-8.
