The West Mesa Mustangs basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Rio Grande Ravens to 30 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now have a 16-11 record. They play next when they travel to Los Lunas for a non-league game on Thursday, February 27. West Mesa will confront a Tigers team coming off a 82-4 non-league win over Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 22-5.

With the loss, Rio Grande falls to 4-23 on the campaign.
