Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) and the visiting Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC), saw Pinecrest's soccer squad triumph over Cape Fear by a count of 9-0.
The Patriots (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC). The Buccaneers enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Jack Britt notched a victory over Richmond (Rockingham, NC), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Colts battle the Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, February 28. Cape Fear will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bucks enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lumberton (Lumberton, NC).
