The Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) soccer nipped the visiting Salem Baptist Christian Vikings (Winston-Salem, NC), 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Rams now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to West Stokes for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 27. Starmount will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Salem Baptist Christian moves to 0-1 on the year. The Vikings travel to Caldwell Academy (Greensboro, NC) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 28. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
