Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Wayne County Yellow Jackets (Jesup, GA) and the visiting Ware County Gators (Waycross, GA), saw Wayne County's soccer squad hold off Ware County by a count of 2-1.

The Yellow Jackets (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against St. Vincent's (Savannah, GA). The Saints enter the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, St. Vincent's tipped Brantley County (Nahunta, GA), 10-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Gators confront the Warner Robins Demons (Warner Robins, GA) in a 4A Region 1 battle, on Friday, February 28. Ware County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Demons enter the battle with a 4-1 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Crisp County (Cordele, GA).
