Amarillo Sandies (Amarillo, TX) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Lubbock Westerners (Lubbock, TX), 7-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Amarillo moves its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Sandies travel to Tascosa (Amarillo, TX) to clash with the Rebels in a 5A Region 1 District 3 test on Saturday, March 1. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 8-5. Tascosa lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Monterey (Lubbock, TX)

The Westerners now sport a 3-13 record. They take the field next when they host Lubbock-Cooper for a 5A Region 1 District 3 test on Friday, February 28. Lubbock will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 2-0 league win over Caprock (Amarillo, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 9-2.
