The Mustangs (14-3) will now prepare for their outing against Cypress Woods (Cypress, TX). The Wildcats enter the 6A Region 2 District 16 outing with a 13-5 record. In their last outing, Cypress Woods tipped Cypress Springs (Cypress, TX), 8-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Spartans confront the Bridgeland Bears (Cypress, TX) in a 6A Region 2 District 16 outing, on Friday, February 28. Cypress Lakes will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Bears enter the outing with a 11-4 record after their 8-0 league win over Waller (Waller, TX).
