Garland Owls (Garland, TX) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Rowlett Eagles (Rowlett, TX), 2-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Garland moves its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Wylie (Wylie, TX) to clash with the Pirates in a 6A Region 2 District 9 test on Tuesday, March 4. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 15-0.

The Eagles now sport a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they host Wylie for a 6A Region 2 District 9 test on Friday, February 28. Rowlett will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 5-0 league win over Naaman Forest (Garland, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 15-0.
