The Willis Wildkats softball squad (Willis, TX), was edged 4-3 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host The Woodlands Highlanders (The Woodlands, TX)

Next, the Highlanders meet the Magnolia Bulldogs (Magnolia, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 28. The Woodlands will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record.

The Wildkats (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cleveland (Cleveland, TX). The Indians go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Cleveland was nudged by Grand Oaks (Spring, TX), 15-0, in a league challenge.
