Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Andress Eagles (El Paso, TX) and the visiting Burges Mustangs (El Paso, TX), saw Andress's soccer squad hold off Burges by a count of 2-1.

The Eagles (13-4) will now prepare for their battle against Chapin (El Paso, TX). The Huskies enter the 5A Region 1 District 1 battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, Chapin tipped Canutillo (Canutillo, TX), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Mustangs battle the El Paso Tigers (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region 1 District 1 battle, on Friday, February 28. Burges will attempt to upgrade on its 14-3 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 11-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Jefferson (El Paso, TX).
