The Estacado Matadors edged the host Big Spring Steers soccer team by a tally of 3-2 in Tuesday's league game.
Next, the Matadors face the Sweetwater Mustangs (Sweetwater, TX) in a 4A Region 1 District 2 game, on Friday, February 28. Estacado will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 3-9 record after their 5-2 league loss to Pecos (Pecos, TX).
The Steers (4-12) will now prepare for their game against Lake View (San Angelo, TX). The Chiefs enter the 4A Region 1 District 2 game with a 15-1 record. In their last game, Lake View held off Andrews (Andrews, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
