Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Grand Oaks Grizzlies (Spring, TX) and the visiting New Caney Eagles (New Caney, TX), saw Grand Oaks's soccer squad prevail over New Caney by a count of 5-1.

The Grizzlies (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against Conroe (Conroe, TX). The Tigers enter the 6A Region 2 District 13 battle with a 13-3 record. In their last battle, Conroe tipped Oak Ridge (Conroe, TX), 7-3, in a league battle.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Willis Wildkats (Willis, TX) in a 6A Region 2 District 13 battle, on Friday, February 28. New Caney will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Wildkats enter the battle with a 2-12 record after their 8-0 league loss to College Park (The Woodlands, TX).
