The Dons (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Caprock (Amarillo, TX). The Longhorns enter the 5A Region 1 District 3 battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, Caprock Lubbock-Cooper (Lubbock, TX), 2-2, in a league battle.

Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Coronado Mustangs (Lubbock, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, February 28. Plainview will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 3-11 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Lubbock-Cooper (Lubbock, TX).
