The Catholic - N.I. Panthers triumphed over the visiting Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy Eagles softball squad by a count of 18-3 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Panthers play the Highland Baptist Christian Bears (New Iberia, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 27. Catholic - N.I. will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hahnville (Boutte, LA). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Hahnville overcame St. Mary's Dominican (New Orleans, LA), 11-1, in a non-league challenge.
