Mississippi High School Softball - Loyd Star gets by Wesson

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Loyd Star Hornets (Brookhaven, MS) and the visiting Wesson Cobras (Wesson, MS), observed Loyd Star's softball team get by Wesson by a final score of 2-1.

The Hornets (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MS). The Gators go into the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Vicksburg was nipped by Yazoo County (Yazoo City, MS), 11-8, in a non-league bout.
