The South Jones Braves edged the visiting Neshoba Central Rockets softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Braves meet the Daphne Trojans (Daphne, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 27. South Jones will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Mobile Christian (Mobile, AL).
The Rockets (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Columbus (Columbus, MS). The Falcons enter the 6A Region 2 challenge with a 0-2 record.
