In Tuesday's non-league match, the host South Beauregard Knights softball team scored a nice 15-4 victory over the Welsh Greyhounds.
The Knights (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Barbe (Lake Charles, LA). The Buccaneers go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Barbe was routed by Iowa (Iowa, LA), 15-5, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Greyhounds battle the Beau Chene Gators (Arnaudville, LA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 27. Welsh will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Gators go into the match with a 1-2 record after their 7-6 non-league win over Acadiana (Lafayette, LA).
