The Aquinas Fightin' Irish baseball team scored 20 runs and held the host Glascock County Panthers to 9 in the Fightin' Irish non-league win on Wednesday.

The Fightin' Irish now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Baldwin for a AAA Region 4 test on Friday, February 27. Aquinas will play a Braves team coming off a 15-0 league loss to Aquinas (Augusta, GA). The Braves record now stands at 0-5.

With the defeat, Glascock County drops to 0-2 on the year. The Panthers host Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA) to play the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, February 28. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 2-5. Washington-Wilkes lost 6-4 in their recent non-league test against Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, GA)
