Colorado High School Basketball - Union Colony Prep topped by Gilpin County

The Gilpin County Eagles basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Union Colony Prep Timberwolves to 26 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.

The Eagles now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wiggins for a non-league contest on Friday, March 4. Gilpin County will battle a Tigers team coming off a 54-40 non-league loss to Holyoke (Holyoke, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 13-9.

With the defeat, Union Colony Prep moves to 7-12 on the year.
