Lancaster Bruins (Lancaster, SC) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Irmo Yellowjackets (Columbia, SC), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bruins face the Brookland-Cayce Bearcats (Cayce, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, February 27. Lancaster will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Gilbert (Gilbert, SC).
The Yellowjackets now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dutch Fork for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. Irmo will face a Silver Foxes team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC). The Silver Foxes record now stands at 3-1.
