The Tompkins Falcons softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Alvin Yellowjackets to 1 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Tompkins moves its record to 6-3 on the year. The Falcons travel to Waller (Waller, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Saturday, February 26. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 8-4. Waller won 10-2 in their recent non-league test against Brazoswood (Clute, TX)

The Yellowjackets (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Seven Lakes (Katy, TX). The Spartans enter the non-league test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Seven Lakes prevailed over Langham Creek (Houston, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
