Pee Dee Academy Eagles (Mullins, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Carolina Academy Bobcats (Lake City, SC), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clarendon Hall for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 26.

With the loss, Carolina Academy falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Laurence Manning Academy (Manning, SC) to battle the Swampcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 1. The Swampcats enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Laurence Manning Academy won 14-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Cardinal Newman (Columbia, SC)
