Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Woodmont Wildcats (Piedmont, SC), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Rams now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Riverside for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 26.

With the loss, Woodmont falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Palmetto (Williamston, SC) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 1. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Palmetto won 16-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Pendleton (Pendleton, SC)
