The Waconia Wildcats basketball team scored 101 points and restricted the visiting Chanhassen Storm to 70 in the Wildcats league victory on Monday.

The Wildcats now sport a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Louis Park for a AAAA Section 6 contest on Friday, March 1. Waconia will battle a Orioles team coming off a 84-68 league loss to Orono (Long Lake, MN). The Orioles record now stands at 12-13.

The Storm (12-12) will now prepare for their contest against Minnetonka (Minnetonka, MN). The Skippers come into the AAAA Section 2 contest with a 19-5 record. In their last contest, Minnetonka was routed by Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN), 83-81, in a non-league contest.
