The Tri County Area Vikings basketball team (Howard City, MI), was nudged 66-62 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Newaygo Lions (Newaygo, MI)

The Lions now possess a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grant for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 28. Newaygo will confront a Tigers team coming off a 75-67 non-league loss to Montague (Montague, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 14-7.
