In Monday's non-league outing, the Alamo Navajo Cougars (Magdalena, NM) basketball squad beat the visiting Hondo Valley Eagles (Hondo, NM), by a margin of 53-43.
The Cougars (16-11) will now prepare for their outing against Carrizozo (Carrizozo, NM). The Grizzlies go into the non-league outing with a 8-20 record. In their last outing, Carrizozo defeated Mountainair (Mountainair, NM), 56-48, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now own a 4-21 record.
