Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Shawnee Renegades (Medford, NJ), 30-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cherokee upgrades its record to 20-7 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Lenape (Medford, NJ) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 28. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 22-7. Lenape won 53-39 in their recent non-league bout against Southern Regional (Manahawkin, NJ)
