Heritage Christian Defenders (Dyer, IN) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Portage Christian (Portage, IN), 50-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Heritage Christian upgrades its record to 11-15 on the campaign. The Defenders travel to Calumet Christian (Griffith, IN) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 27. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 20-13. Calumet Christian won 47-30 in their recent non-league bout against Faith Christian (Dixon, IL)
