California High School Baseball - San Pedro gets by South

February 26, 2024: San Pedro, CA 90731

San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting South Spartans (Torrance, CA), 5-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, San Pedro upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Pirates host North (Torrance, CA) to battle the Saxons in a non-league test on Thursday, February 29. The Saxons come into the test with a record of 2-4. North lost 7-3 in their recent non-league test against Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA)

With the defeat, South falls to 2-4 on the season. The Spartans travel to Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA) to battle the Wolves in a test on Wednesday, March 6. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 2-2. Wiseburn- Da Vinci won 17-2 in their recent non-league test against Animo Leadership (Inglewood, CA)
