The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC) and the visiting Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC), saw Western Guilford's lacrosse team nudge Atkins by a margin of 9-8.
The Hornets (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Glenn (Kernersville, NC). The Bobcats enter the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
The Camels (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Falcons enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Southeast Guilford was tipped by Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC), 10-7, in a non-league challenge.
