North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Mountain Island Charter drops to Lincoln Charter

Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC) boosters exited the stadium content Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Mountain Island Charter Raptors (Mt. Holly, NC), 17-2 in a league battle.

The Eagles now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sun Valley for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 28. Lincoln Charter will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 16-2 non-league win over Butler (Matthews, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.

In their next game, the Raptors clash with the Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) in a Catawba Shores/Metro 8/South Piedmont battle, on Wednesday, February 28. Mountain Island Charter will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Knights come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 10-9 non-league win over Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC).
