Mississippi High School Softball - Independence bounces Rosa Fort

Independence Wildcats (Independence, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Rosa Fort Lions (Tunica, MS), 19-2 in a league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Charleston for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 27.
With the loss, Rosa Fort falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Greenwood (Greenwood, MS) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 28. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Greenwood lost 28-12 in their recent non-league challenge against Gentry (Indianola, MS)
