The Central Falcons baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Hale County Wildcats to 5 in the Falcons non-league win on Wednesday.
The Falcons now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Westminster School at Oak Mountain for a non-league test on Friday, February 28. Central will play a Knights team coming off a 11-4 non-league loss to Oak Grove (Bessemer, AL). The Knights record now stands at 2-3.
With the defeat, Hale County drops to 3-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Thorsby (Thorsby, AL) to play the Rebels in a non-league test on Saturday, March 1. The Rebels go into the test with a record of 8-2. Thorsby won 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Billingsley (Billingsley, AL)
