The Horn Lake Eagles baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Coahoma County Red Panthers to 0 in the Eagles non-league win on Wednesday.
The Eagles now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rosa Fort for a non-league test on Thursday, February 27.
With the defeat, Coahoma County drops to 0-2 on the year. The Red panthers travel to North Panola (Sardis, MS) to play the Cougars in a 3A Region 2 test on Tuesday, March 4. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 0-2. North Panola lost 16-3 in their recent non-league test against Potts Camp (Potts Camp, MS)
