The Glenwood Gators baseball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Smiths Station Panthers to 6 in the Gators non-league win on Wednesday.

The Gators now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morgan County for a non-league test on Thursday, February 27. Glenwood will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over West Laurens (Dexter, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-0.

With the defeat, Smiths Station drops to 4-6 on the year. The Panthers host Bayside Academy (Daphne, AL) to play the Admirals in a non-league test on Friday, February 28. The Admirals go into the test with a record of 3-4. Bayside Academy lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Fairhope (Fairhope, AL)
