In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Los Altos Eagles baseball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Saint Francis Lancers.
The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Branham (San Jose, CA). The Bruins go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Branham nipped Gunn (Palo Alto, CA), 6-1, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Saint Francis drops to 1-1 on the year. The Lancers host Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 28. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
