The Western Alamance Warriors baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Western Guilford Hornets to 3 in the Warriors non-league win on Wednesday.

The Warriors now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Reidsville for a non-league test on Friday, February 28. Western Alamance will play a Rams team coming off a 17-9 non-league loss to Western Alamance (Elon, NC). The Rams record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Western Guilford drops to 1-1 on the year. The Hornets host R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Demons in a non-league test on Friday, February 28. The Demons go into the test with a record of 1-0. R.J. Reynolds won 12-7 in their recent non-league test against Bethany Community (Summerfield, NC)
